The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is committed to ensuring that your personal information is used lawfully and appropriately.

Barking and Dagenham Money will collect your first name, surname and email address

How we will use your personal information:

Your name and email address which you have provided will be stored securely. It will be used to form a mailing list to contact you with updates and information from Barking and Dagenham Money, including newsletters.

Information will not be sold, rented, or provided to anyone else, or used for any other purposes than that for which it was originally collected.

Lawful basis for processing your personal information

We require a lawful reason to process your information.  As such, the Council is relying on the following lawful basis:

Article 6(1)a ‘consent’ is being relied on. The individual will give clear consent for Barking and Dagenham Money to process their data (first name, surname and email address) for the purpose outlined above.

No sensitive personal information is being gathered.

Where will we store your information?

Your information will be kept securely within the UK. Information will not be sold, rented, or provided to anyone else, or used for any other purposes than that for which it was originally collected.

Sharing your personal information

We won’t share your information with any other partner without your consent, unless the law requires us to.

Keeping your personal information

Every 3 years, we will endeavour contact you for your consent to remain on our contact with and without your consent you will be removed. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any other time.
